Escalation Process
If you feel that the offer or decision presented to you was reached in error or you have a dispute about how the decision was reached, you may contact the number listed below and speak to a First Federal Lakewood Representative. Our Escalation Review Team will review the file and all corresponding documentation that was provided to ensure compliance.
You may also submit additional documentation that you think would be helpful in explaining your situation.
The review process takes 15 calendar days. You will be assigned a case reference number and notified within 3 days of receipt of an escalation request.
Once your file has been reviewed you will be notified no later than 5 business days after a decision is reached.
Note – submission of an escalation request will not halt any collection or foreclosure activity if these events have been initiated. Your loan will be referred to foreclosure if applicable in accordance with all guidelines and applicable law.
