I do not want First Federal of Lakewood to authorize and pay overdrafts on my ATM and one-time debit card transactions. Selecting this option does not prevent your account from going negative or being charged overdraft fees. The order of processing transactions, paying checks and electronic debits, may cause a negative balance in your account and may result in fees. ATM and one-time debit card transactions that have been preauthorized must be paid from your account. New overdraft service rules prevent banks from charging overdraft fees on ATM and one-time debit card transactions only. Selecting this option only prevents First Federal of Lakewood from charging overdraft fees due to ATM and one-time debit card transactions which result in a negative account balance. I want First Federal of Lakewood to authorize and pay overdrafts on my ATM and one-time debit card transactions. Selecting this option does not mean all your ATM and one-time debit card transactions will be authorized. The order of processing transactions, paying checks and electronic debits, may have an effect on your transaction being declined. Selecting this option allows First Federal of Lakewood to charge overdraft fees due to ATM and one-time debit card transactions which result in a negative account balance.
