Bank Employees Wear Jeans to Help Area Homeless Get Socks.

Getting a pair of socks as a gift is probably not very exciting to most of us. But for thousands of Cleveland’s homeless, socks are one of the most appreciated clothing donations possible — and one of the most requested.

That’s why we pulled together to raise money for Socks Plus, a program sponsored by the Community West Foundation that donates socks to our area’s homeless population.

Our Jeans Days campaign encouraged employees to make a contribution in exchange for wearing jeans to work on designated Fridays, with proceeds going to Socks Plus.

In all, the money we raised supplied over 24,000 socks for the program! Big thanks go out to everyone who participated — your efforts helped a lot people in need feel a bit more comfortable on those chilly N.E. Ohio evenings.

Socks Plus can supply 10 pairs of socks with every $10 donation.
