Tin Cup Challenge Collects Over $4,500 Worth of Goods for the Community.
Each year, First Federal Lakewood employees get into the spirit of giving with the Tin Cup Challenge — a friendly competition to see who can collect the most non-perishable goods for donation to the Lakewood Community Service Center.
Just like previous years, our latest Challenge was a big success! In all, 65 employees in our Mortgage Operations and Sales departments formed teams, created fun collection boxes and began collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products. Laura Sampson who has led this challenge for 2 years was also awarded the first ever First Federal Lakewood Mission in Motion award for her work giving back to the community.
Over $4,500 worth of goods was collected and donated to the Lakewood Community Service Center. Fantastic job, everybody!
