Thomas J. Fraser | President and CEO, First Federal Lakewood
Tom is the president and CEO of First Federal Lakewood, the largest depositor-owned community bank headquartered in Ohio with assets of $1.6 billion. Tom is also president and CEO of First Mutual Holding Co., the largest depositor-owned mutual holding company of its kind in the Midwest.
Tom took the helm at First Federal Lakewood in 2013, having previously served as EVP/COO and Chief Lending Officer for the bank. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his tenure with First Federal Lakewood, he was Senior Vice President of Westfield Bank. He also held positions of increasing responsibility with the former National City Bank and was a consultant and Senior Analyst with Andersen Consulting.
Tom holds a master’s degree in history and a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from John Carroll University. He is a member of the OCC Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee and the Federal Reserve CDIAC. He is also on the board of directors for the Ohio Bankers League. Tom has served on a number of local community and civic organizations, including the Beck Center for the Arts, Youth Challenge and the Barton Center and Lakewood Senior Citizens Inc.
